Property Appraisal Manual (SHTN 00-01)

It is essential that the land and property assets of the NHS estate in Scotland positively contribute to the delivery of healthcare services. It is therefore necessary to hold up-to-date appraisals of the existing land and property as a baseline assessment of the estate. The NHSScotland Property Appraisal Manual and its appendices therefore provides guidance on the methodology NHSScotland boards should follow to ensure a consistent and standard approach is adopted, for the appraisal and recording of NHS property information.
