Response

I refer to your freedom of information request that we received on 21 October 2024 requesting the following information.

We have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

Please see attached Appendix 1 – Immunoglobin Vials issued to Scottish Hospitals, for the breakdown of immunoglobulin distributed to NHS Scotland Hospitals per month for July, August and September 2024, broken down by product. Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act, 2002 (FOISA) an organisation does not have to provide that information if it does not hold it. NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) cannot provide information regarding the number of patients by brand as we do not hold this level of detail. We only deliver as far as the Pharmacy Distribution Centre (PDC) in Greater Glasgow & Clyde (GG&C) therefore, we do not hold records of which hospitals the vials were issued to in that territory.

Where a product does not appear, this is because we do not hold any record of such vials being distributed to NHS Scotland Hospitals for the months requested. I trust you will find the information of assistance and if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of how we have dealt with your request, you can make representations to us asking us to review the handling of your request.

If you require any further information, please contact Head of Information and Cyber Security, Digital and Security within 40 working days of the date of this correspondence.
