I would like to submit an FOI request for the amount of Alpha-1 Proteinase-Inhibitor (AAT) in grams purchased by the trust in 2023 (the entire calendar year),

a. broken down by manufacturer (Grifols, CSL Behring, Takeda, Kamada),

b. by vial size (0.5 mg, 1 mg, 4 mg, 5 mg) and

c. by department ordering AAT (ICU, Pulmonology unit, Liver unit etc.)

We have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 (FOISA), an organisation does not have to provide the information if it does not hold that information. NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) cannot provide details on the amount of Alpha-1 Proteinase-Inhibitor (AAT) purchased in grams as we do not buy this product.
