What cost for each standard PPE (protective gowns) from private supplier I mean suppliers out with the normal contracted stocks held by NHS Scotland during the covid outbreak in Scotland from private suppliers?

I can advise you that we have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

Under Section 33(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information Scotland, an organisation does not require to provide information if its disclosure under this Act would, or would be likely to, prejudice substantially the commercial interests of any person (including, without prejudice to that generality, a Scottish public authority) and as such, any individual cost information is being withheld as it is commercially sensitive.

What we can provide you with is Appendix 1 – Protective gown overall spend with contingency suppliers, which details the overall spend on protective gowns with additional contingency suppliers during the period of February 2020 – December 2021.
