Under the freedom of information act please kindly provide information on Wipes (Dry and Wet) that are currently supplied to the Scottish Hospitals.

Please include the Product code, Description of the product, Unit of issue, brand name, supplier name and contract type.

Additionally, please provide the number of packs supplied for each month for the last 3 years and the average cost per pack in an excel spreadsheet.

I can advise you that we have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

Please note that under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act, 2002 (FOISA) an organisation does not have to provide that information if it does not hold that information. NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) does not hold any information in relation to brand names as this specific detail is not recorded. Please also note that under Section 17 of FOISA we are unable to provide details for December 2023/January 2024 as this information is not yet available.

Under Section 33(1)(b) of the FOISA, an organisation does not require to provide information if its disclosure under this Act would, or would be likely to, prejudice substantially the commercial interests of any person (including, without prejudice to that generality, a Scottish public authority) and as such any individual cost information is being withheld as it is commercially sensitive.
