Please detail what equipment from the NHS Louisa Jordan was sold, who it was sold to and how much for.

Please also detail what price the items were purchased at.

If there are any items which have not been sold or redistributed to other areas of the NHS please can you tell me what these items are and where they are being stored. If the storage facility used has an associated cost, please provide this.

Please detail what equipment from the NHS Louisa Jordan was sold, who it was sold to and how much for.

  • 150 stacking chairs were sold to Cameron Event Logistics Ltd. for £1,500 ex VAT.
  • 18 draughtsman chairs were sold to Cameron Event Logistics Ltd. for £900 ex VAT.
  • 7 computed radiography image readers, 2 patient couches, 1 exercise bike, 20 infusion pumps and 74 defibrillators were unsuitable for redistribution within NHS Scotland and were sold at auction through the Hilditch Group. The total return to the NHS was £42,662.10.

Please also detail what price the items were purchased at.

  • Stacking chairs purchased at £15 each ex VAT.
  • Draughtsman chairs purchased at £63 each ex VAT.

The computed radiography image readers, patient couches, exercise bike, infusion pumps and defibrillators were a mixture of donated used equipment and decommissioned equipment that were brought back into service for use at the NHS Louisa Jordan.

If there are any items which have not been sold or redistributed to other areas of the NHS, please can you tell me what these items are and where they are being stored. If the storage facility used has an associated cost, please provide this.

Please find attached FOI – 2023-000336 Appendix 1 - Titan Stocklist LJ 26-09-2023, for an up to date stock list of NHS Louisa Jordan equipment and infrastructure being stored at the NHS Titan Warehouse, Eurocentral.

There is no associated cost for storage as the warehouse is NHS owned.
