Dispensing Data is available on the Public Health Scotland website, while this data provides detail of how many prescription lines have been paid, it is not the full detail around which products were dispensed or the Net Ingredient Cost, so we are looking for additional detail.

I have attached an extract of the data we received from NHSBSA England, and we are looking for the same information in relation to prescriptions dispensed for Scotland.

We would like this data split by month, for the last 36 months, for BNF chapters 21, 22 and 23. Separating out each Appliance Contractor, along with totals for Dispensing Doctors and Pharmacies.

Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act (FOISA) an organisation does not require to provide information if it does not hold that information. NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) does not hold this information as the data requested is held by Public Health Scotland (PHS).
