Request
I'm looking into the NP50022 Temporary Agency Medical Locum Doctors framework contract. I was wondering if you could help me find the documentation for this contract (a template contract outlining the contract requirements, for example). Also, is there a way to tell how much each of the companies that won was awarded?
Response

I'm looking into the NP50022 Temporary Agency Medical Locum Doctors framework contract. I was wondering if you could help me find the documentation for this contract (a template contract outlining the contract requirements, for example).
Under Section 25 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 (FOISA), NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) are exempt from supplying the requested information, as this information is already publicly available at Public Contracts Scotland.
We can direct you to the Contract Notice available here: View Notice - Public Contracts Scotland, which outlines the contract requirements. We have also provided a link to the tender documentation available at https://www.publictendersscotland.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/ under Project code 19928 (you will need to register to view the tender).
Also, is there a way to tell how much each of the companies that won was awarded?
Companies are not awarded a value and orders are based on local requirements at Health Boards which are ad hoc due to the nature of temporary staffing requirements. Within our tender documentation it states that “Framework Participants are instructed that no commitment is made by the Authority on its own behalf or on behalf of Participating Authorities as to the volume of Orders which may be placed by Participating Authorities pursuant to the Framework Agreement.” “Call-off from the Framework Agreement is by submission of Orders by the relevant Participating Authorities to the Framework Participants.”
I trust you will find the information of assistance and if you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of how we have dealt with your request you can make representations to us asking us to review the handling of your request.
If you require any further information please contact Associate Director Information Security & Governance, within 40 working days of the date of this correspondence.
