I have been looking on your site for historic versions of SHTM 82. I have found the current April 2013 version, but would like to review the version of SHTM 82 that was in place during the design and build of the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, so I can accurately respond to my client, NHS Lothian.

Would you be able to provide me with copies of the historical versions of SHTM82 (presumably versions 1 to 3)?

I can advise you that we have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

Please find attached: Appendix 1 (Scottish HTM 82) published April 1998 from our HFS archive publications folder.

The 1998 document does not have a version number; however, it is the immediate predecessor to the current document (version 4).

Earlier versions of Firecode document ‘Fire safety - alarm and detection systems’ were issued by the NHS in England and Health Facilities Scotland does not hold records of these publications.

Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act an organisation does not require to provide information if it does not hold that information.
