I am wanting to understand more about the strategic decision to procure theatre management systems (IT) in Scotland. Please could the following questions be answered please:

  1. How can suppliers be considered on the NSS Category B Theatre Management award?
  2. Is there an application process to follow and how can supplies apply?
  3. What specific date will the 'award' be reviewed and a supplier engagement process taking place in relation to the above?
  4. Who can I speak with from an IT or digital leadership who leads on this workstream?

Response

I can advise you that we have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

  1. How can suppliers be considered on the NSS Category B Theatre Management award?

NSS currently have no plans to procure a theatre management system for NHS Health Boards.

  1. Is there an application process to follow and how can supplies apply?

N/A as per Question 1. However, all NSS tender opportunities are published on Public Contracts Scotland and Find a Tender website. Please ensure you are registered on these sites, if not already, to receive future notifications. Where applicable / appropriate, procurements may be undertaken using an existing framework (f/w) or dynamic purchasing system (DPS) – whereby the suppliers on this f/w or DPS are invited to tender.

  1. What specific date will the 'award' be reviewed and a supplier engagement process taking place in relation to the above?

N/A as per Question 1.

  1. Who can I speak with from an IT or digital leadership who leads on this work stream?

N/A as per Question 1.
