This document provides guidance for the design of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology facilities and services. It recognises the provision of diagnostic services at primary care level, as well as the differences between tertiary and secondary level healthcare providers. It covers a wide range of design options with discussion of factors that will inform selection of the most appropriate option.
