Environmental Matrix template

NHS Scotland Assure have developed an outline environmental matrix template. Project teams can populate and adapt it to define the environmental parameters relevant to their specific project. The template is indicative, not prescriptive and can be modified to suit the needs of a specific project. Users should populate the data fields based on SHTM guidance and other standards relative to the patient cohort and facility requirements. All stakeholders involved in the project should collaborate to develop the matrix. This includes designers, clinical teams, infection prevention & control teams, estates colleagues etc.

PLEASE NOTE: This does not supersede the requirement to use ADBs on projects as per Scottish Governments “A Policy for Design Quality for NHSScotland’ issued under CEL 19 (2010).
