Stephen Waclawski

Stephen qualified as a solicitor and notary public in 2007 following a general commercial traineeship in a private practice firm.
He gained experience representing pursuers and defenders as a civil court solicitor working for private practice firms based in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Stephen qualified as a civil Solicitor Advocate in 2016. He has acted for professionals in fitness to practise proceedings in response to complaints made to their regulator (eg: doctors, dentists, solicitors).
Stephen has appeared at the Medical Practitioner’s Tribunal, in Sheriff Courts across Scotland and in the Court of Session.
Since starting at CLO in 2019, Stephen has mainly been representing Boards in defence of clinical negligence and other personal injuries claims. He also represents Boards at fatal accident inquiries and in relation to other general court business.
Stephen is a member of the Practitioner Services group, and deals specifically with advising Boards and Pharmacy Practice Committees in applications to be entered onto the pharmaceutical list.
He is a Team Leader in Litigation Team C.
