Professor Jacqui Reilly
Jacqui was appointed as NSS Director of Nursing in February 2019, having fulfilled the role on an interim basis from June 2018. She has executive leadership responsibility in NSS for Allied Health Professions, Healthcare Associated Infection and Quality Improvement. Jacqui has held a number of clinical and senior nursing roles in NSS and the NHS more widely and has a background in acute and community care services, most recently in public health.
She has a joint appointment at Glasgow Caledonian University, where she is a Professor and lead for the Safeguarding Health through Infection Prevention (SHIP) research group. Jacqui is committed to NSS supporting and enabling safe, effective, value based population health and person centred care.
