Customer Administration Team

The Dental and Ophthalmic Customer Administration Team consists of 14 Team Members including the Team Leader David Curti. The Team supports Dental and Ophthalmic practitioners as well as all Health Boards across Scotland.

The range of tasks includes:

• Payment claims for Dental and Ophthalmic (rejections/amendments/queries)
• Setting up/amending/resigning list numbers for Dentists
• Stamp requests.
• Withdrawals and transfers of patients from Practitioners
• Setting up eschedule access for both Dental and Ophthalmic and providing usernames/passwords/PIN numbers for eOphthalmic.

Most queries are dealt within the same day and support is provided mainly via emails but also phone calls. The Team also responds instantly to daily patient registration queries from the Public Dental Service which is currently at around 1000 emails per week.

We always try to provide the best service because we know that this will benefit not only Practitioners but ultimately Patient care throughout Scotland.
