Statement on the passing of Her Majesty the Queen

NHS National Services Scotland Chief Executive, Mary Morgan, offers her condolences at the news of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.

“It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the death of Her Majesty the Queen.

“The Queen’s life was one of service and her 70-year reign was underpinned by her sense of duty and her dedication to the people of the UK and the Commonwealth.

“On behalf of our staff I would like to extend our sincere and deepest condolences to the entire Royal Family. Our thoughts are with those who are affected by the loss of Her Majesty the Queen.”
