NHS National Services Scotland launches its new Strategic Framework 2024-2026

Published on 15 July 2024

NHS National Services Scotland has launched its new strategic framework 2024-2026 to support the planning and delivery of its services.

The framework sets out the organisation's purpose, vision, priorities, objectives, and NHSScotland values, which together, aim to guide strategic decision making across NSS, in the delivery of quality services that are safe, effective, efficient and sustainable.

Chief Executive, Mary Morgan, comments, “The expertise and infrastructure services across NSS underpin and enable NHSScotland as it continues to evolve to meet new and emerging needs and challenges.

“We have worked flexibly over the years to support national solutions, maintaining our core services, creating new services, and establishing new relationships and partnerships across health and care. Our latest framework will support us to continue to do that sustainably, remaining responsive and ready to support recovery and renewal across Scotland’s health and care.”

NSS Chair, Keith Redpath adds, “The role of NSS within NHSScotland is both substantial and broad. The vast scope of our contributions is not always simple to capture. Yet our latest Strategic Framework does this well and is pivotal in maintaining our focus on the value (and added value) NSS delivers to NHSScotland and the communities it serves.”
