National supply chain security

National Services Scotland (NSS) works with suppliers of national systems and infrastructure to ensure standards are met and security of our data and services is maintained, including:
- SWAN: NSS manages the SWAN contract through the SWAN Authority team, including development of SWAN services, and management of third party access
- Atos: NSS manages the Atos technical services contract which provides many of our national applications in NHS Scotland including SCI Gateway, Emergency Care Summary (ECS) and the PACS national archive
- GP systems: NSS is currently managing the GPs systems reprocurement exercise and working with key suppliers of national solutions to ensure appropriate security standards have been applied
